The European Young Chef Award is a competition organized and promoted by the International Institute of Gastronomy, Culture, Art and Tourism (IGCAT) and EUHT StPOL.
It is a competition among the finalists of regional competitions from all over Europe, and is judged by chefs and international experts. Last year, the chairman of the jury was the internationally renowned Spanish Chef, Joan Roca.
Argiro Barbarigou was the official guest and chairman of the jury at this year’s competition, held in early November in Barcelona, to promote the new chef of the year.
